Background:
SIP2008 is an Internet-based, request for bid posting bulletin board. The bulletin board is password protected and only accessible by the contract administrator and the five prequalified SIP vendors Pomeroy, nCompass, SIS, CDWG and AdvizeX.
Agencies are required to purchase servers, non-IP08 computing hardware, printers, peripherals and software from this Statewide contract. IT equipment and software not available on other SWCs may be purchased from SIP.
Agency Requirements:
Agencies are required to submit a completed SIP posting document (contact the IP Board at IP.Board@wv.gov to obtain posting document forms), and send to the Contract Administrator, as an email attachment.
Bid requests anticipated to exceed $10,000 must also be sent to consulting.services@wv.gov, for CTO approval to purchase.
The agency must award the WV-39 purchase order to the lowest bid vendor meeting the bid specifications. Agencies should not use the Bulletin Board just to get prices or quotes. Agencies must allow five business days for the posting and two to five additional days to receive the bids and Vendor Summary Memo.
The winning bid and Vendor Summary memo must be forwarded to the Auditor’s Office, for payment after receipt of equipment/software.
